Software Package
Brady's MarkWare
software is a comprehensive facility identification
software package that comes complete with ready-to-go
label, sign and tag templates - including an
RTK label database with over 2000 chemicals.
When making signs
or labels you can save time by starting with
a standard template. Then personalize you facility
signs and labels the way you'd like to with
corporate logos, bar codes and other graphics.
Create
and customize your own safety and identification
sign and labels including: ANSI recommended
Safety Signs & Labels, Lockout Tags, Pipe
Markers, RTK chemical labels and custom labels
with bar codes and graphics.
MarkWare Software
includes several applications:
Right-To-Know Labeling:
The hazardous material and chemical labeling portion
of the MarkWare software includes a database
of 2000 chemicals. This allows you to
save time because you don't need to enter MSDS data.
Plus it helps avoid typos. Just click on the chemical
and label format of your choice and print! It also
gives you both NFPA ColorBar and Diamond formats to
choose from.
Signs
And Labels:
This application allows
you to make custom safety signs with either
OSHA or the new ANSI format headers. You can
also choose from a library of approximately
500 pictograms or, import your own logos or
pictures to meet your needs. The application
lets you create bar-codes within the sign with
all the latest symbologies from 3 of 9 to 128.
Label sizes range from 1 3/4" x 2 1/2" to 7"
x 10".
Pipe Markers:
This application lets
you create your custom pipe markers within ANSI
Standard guidelines. Simply enter your pipe
diameter and the software automatically selects
the correct label size for your application.
In addition to entering your custom legend,
the template also gives you the options to select
from a library of pictograms and flow arrows.
Custom and Generic Tags:
The tags application
allows you to make your own custom lockout,
RTK, calibration, inspection or safety sign
tags. The tags templates range in size from
2"x4" to 8.5" x 4".
WHMIS:
Canadian Hazard Materials Labels. Use this option
in the Markware Software to create labels that communicate
safe handling procedures for hazardous products in
the workplace.
HSID:
Hazardous
Substances Identification documents meet European
Community Directives for labeling hazardous
substances.
Custom Labels:
The custom application
allows you to produce a custom label without
any pre-formated setting. Excellent for bintabs,
this application can take an existing database
and query it into labels without having to manually
key in each label individually.
System Requirements:
The MarkWare software can be used with a Windows
95, 98, NT, 2000 or XP Computer and any laser or ink-jet
printer, as well as custom label printers such as
the Brady Handimark, Brady
PowerMark, and the Varitronics
EasyStep 4000.
